The new Sonderforschungsbereich (Collaborative Research Center)SFB 689 "Spin phenomena in reduced dimensions" was granted to the University of Regensburg by the DFG.

The Molecular Computing group is a member of the Regensburg SFB 689 with the subproject A3 "Ferromagnetically contacted carbon nanotubes".
