Time-dependent semiclassical hybrid approach to many particle quantum dynamics

The semiclassical initial value formalism to solve the time-dependent Schroedinger equation will be reviewed.In order to treat systems with many degrees of freedom a hybrid approach is introduced and used to studyinelastic molecular collisions and the interaction of molecular vibrations with an oscillator bath. The formation of Schroedinger cat states in the the I_2Kr_x system will be discussed.
